If you’re conscious that your organisation’s hotel spend is high, or at least higher than you’d like it to be, one of the best places to start in order to squash that spend down is with your hotel RFP – if you’ve never done one, then now’s the time to start.

A hotel RFP will invite hotels, preferably in an area that your team frequently visit, to offer competitive corporate rates – sometimes in exchange for a guaranteed amount of bookings. If you can’t remember when you last did yours, then maybe it’s time for a review. This will allow chance for hotels to update their offer, as well as give you chance to assess whether your requirements have changed.
